Carpe Diem is a slice-of-life anthropomorphic webcomic, written by Graveyard Greg and illustrated by various artists; the current artist is Knuxlight. The story is a gay-themed drama following the lives of a network of friends at a gymnasium and elsewhere.
History[editar]
Artists[editar]
Knuxlight is the current main artist of Carpe Diem. His work for Carpe Diem was announced on 5 January 2009, but his name was not announced.[1] His involvement was hinted at four days later,[2] but the first Carpe Diem LiveJournal community post naming him as the new artist wasn't until April 27.[3]
Prior to 2009, the artist was The J.
May 2007 hiatus[editar]
In May 2007 when the domain name for the website expired (carpediemcomic.com cybersquatted 2007-2009), Graveyard Greg announced that he would not be renewing it or continuing the comic. On 9 May 2007, Graveyard Greg commented that he might make the comic available again online.[4] On 12 May 2007, Graveyard Greg announced the Carpe Diem archives would return.[5] On 13 August 2007 Graveyard Greg announced that Carpe Diem would continue. [6]
In print[editar]
Carpe Diem is currently available at Webcomics Nation. In September 2007, Carpe Diem Volume 1 (containing the first four issues and the prequel in FurNation Magazine #6) was published through Lulu.com.[7][8]

In other works by Graveyard Greg[editar]
The phrase "damned powerlifters", used by Kevin in the comic as a jab at Josh and Burt, is used by characters in Graveyard Greg's 2008-2009 series Welcome to Frappuchinos!. In addition, in the Frappuchinos fictional universe, Carpe Diem has been visualized as a television series.
